13 more Jamaicans get Chevening scholarships
THIRTEEN Jamaicans will be undertaking studies in various fields at prestigious universities across the United Kingdom (UK), through the Chevening Scholarship Programme.
The 2024 Chevening scholarship reception was held at the British High Commission in Kingston, on Wednesday.
This year’s scholars will pursue fields of study in energy and climate change, sports biomechanics, data science and analytics, education, international development, law, regulation, compliance, brand management, technology, and telecommunications.
They will be attending the universities of Edinburgh, Newcastle, Coventry, Roehampton, Oxford, London School of Economics and Political Science, and University of London, where they will undertake one year of study.
