Red stripe promotes employee health and wellness with Trainfit club
Marshalling a group of 20 employees, Red Stripe recently joined the TrainFit Club for an adrenaline-filled adventure in the Tru Juice Orchards in St Catherine.
The early morning event, part of the manufacturing giant’s Heineken Employee Inclusion (HEI) Programme, brought together gym-goers and nature lovers from various departments.
Starting their day with hot beverages and a light breakfast, the group embarked on a hike that was as much about bonding as it was about boosting wellness and company morale.
Mandated by Heineken, Red Stripe’s HEI Life programme is a global initiative focused on employee well-being and work-life balance.
This initiative is designed to support employees in various aspects of their lives, including physical health, mental well-being, and professional development.
Gathering with other participating groups, employees of Red Stripe boasted vibrant smiles and high energy as they prepared for the long trail ahead.
Though hiking at the crack of dawn, Diageo Brand Manager Nadine Hylton’s big smile and high energy was infectious.
Reaching the summit, Red Stripe’s occupational health advisor and Office Services Manager Annalia Bucknor guided her team triumphantly to the peak.
