Gas prices down $2.62, diesel down $2.06
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, September 5, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane will be sold for $178.54 per litre after a decrease of $2.62, while 87-octane will be sold for $169.52, down by $2.62.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $166.30 per litre after a decrease of $2.06 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $174.38 per litre down by $2.15.
Kerosene decreased by $1.91 and will be sold for $158.30 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $73.33 per litre down by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $83.54 per litre after an increase of $0.07.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
