Miss Universe Jamaica 2024 Rachel Silvera calls on TPDCo
Miss Universe Jamaica 2024 Rachel Silvera made a special courtesy call at the Tourism Product Development Company Limited (TPDCo) as she prepares to represent Jamaica on the global stage in Mexico come November.
A native of St Mary with a passion for environmental sustainability, Silvera met with Executive Director Wade Mars, who expressed his admiration for her dedication to community development through her organisation, Footprints Jamaica.
Her initiative, which focuses on the urbanisation of rural communities while maintaining sustainability, aligns closely with TPDCo.’s mandate to enhance Jamaica’s tourism product and promote sustainable development across the island.
Mars took the opportunity to acknowledge the legacy of Miss Universe Jamaica representatives as cultural ambassadors, showcasing the depth and richness of Jamaican culture to audiences around the world.
