Fuel Up for free via JAA

As part of its 100th Anniversary celebrations, Jamaica Automobile Association (JAA) has launched the Fuel Up promotion, which will give one motorist the opportunity to win one year’s worth of fuel valued at $240,000 using a JAA Advance Card.

“With fuel prices almost doubling since December 2020, from $110 per litre to currently $200 per litre on average, it is only fitting that we give our members an opportunity to save on fuel as part our 100th anniversary celebrations,” said Coswayne Samms, manager, membership, JAA.

The JAA Fuel Up competition, which is open to all motorists in Jamaica, is easy to enter. Five monthly-winners will receive an Advance Card with a value of $20,000 to purchase fuel through the duration of the competition, August 1 to December 13, 2024.

“For the duration of the competition, all you have to do is purchase or renew the JAA Gold, Platinum or Black Card membership package. Members can also upgrade their membership package from Silver, Gold or Platinum. Sign up for an individual Advance Card with a minimum of $10,000. Or use $10,000 or more from their individual Advance Card for fuel purchases, for the chance to be automatically entered for the monthly draw and grand prize,” Samms outlined.

The grand prize winner will, in addition to the free fuel for a year via a JAA Advance Card, also receive a 12-month Gold Membership package valued at $6,000. This package provides the recipient with 24/7 emergency roadside assistance, vehicle registration renewal service, discount from JAA merchant partners across the island, 10 per cent discount on transport services, and courtesy vehicle and document expiry reminders.
