The closing ceremony of the annual Scotiabank Vision Achiever (SVA) programme was held last month at the AC Hotel in Kingston.

The programme, which marked the culmination of 17 weeks of intensive training, mentorship, and business development for some 25 entrepreneurs, celebrated the achievements and transformative journey of each participant who, over the four-month period, embraced new skills, leadership strategies, and innovative approaches to grow their businesses.

The evening, which featured a special address from guest speaker Richard Lake, chairman of Lake Group of Companies, also saw the announcement of the top three entrepreneurs in the 2024 cohort.

Business Social shares highlights.

The SVA closing ceremony highlighted the top three achievers of the 2024 cohort (from left) Michelle-Ann Letman of PR Belle Media Limited; Simeca Alexander Williamson of Cradle of Life Limited; and Jeanette La Caille-Delvaille of Quintessential Beauty Jamaica Limited.

Scotia’s Kaysia Johnson-Vaughan, director of SME Professional Partnerships, Caribbean North and Central, and Perrin Gayle (right), executive vice-president of retail and small business banking, are all smiles with the guest speaker for the 2024 Vision Achiever closing ceremony Richard Lake.

Marcia Woon Choy, CEO of ActionCOACH Jamaica, speaking during the 2024 Scotiabank Vision Achiever Programme closing ceremony held recently at AC Hotel in Kingston.
