Business Social

In continued solidarity with breast cancer survivors, outdoor adventure company Trekkers Adventures Jamaica Limited recently launched the 2024 staging of its Pink Trek flagship event.

The launch was held as a prelude to the upcoming multi-level Pink Trek hike set to get underway at Blue and John Crow Mountains National Park on October 12, 2024. The annual event seeks to raise approximately $2.5 million in support of breast cancer survivors.

Held at Pages in the Gardens restaurant at Hope Gardens in St Andrew, the event attracted a diverse audience of survivors, advocates, medical personnel, and supporters who, throughout the evening, listened to inspiring and powerful testimonies. The presentations, which emphasised the importance of awareness and early detection, also stressed the need for ongoing support for individuals affected by breast cancer.

The launch event, which also allowed for networking opportunities, saw attendees and a number of corporate sponsors connecting over shared goals and a common commitment to the cause.

Business Social shares highlights.
