The 2025 staging of the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA) flagship tradeshow ‘Expo Jamaica’ got off the ground with a soft launch held on October 15 inside Jampro’s training room along Trafalgar Road in Kingston.

Ranking as the largest tradeshow in the English-speaking Caribbean, Expo Jamaica, held biennially, exclusively showcases locally manufactured products and services. It is recognised in the industry as an important contributor to local development, one which enhances market opportunities whilst strengthening trade relationships globally.

At the launch held last Tuesday, the unveiling of a modernised look and feel of the event saw the roll-out of a refreshed logo and new website.

“The global marketplace is evolving, and so are we. We’ve refreshed our logo, launched a new website, and revamped the venue for a world-class experience. Expo Jamaica 2025 will feature cutting-edge presentations and interactive elements, creating an atmosphere that not only reflects global trends but also ensures our productive sectors are showcased at their absolute best,”executive director of the JMEA told guests in attendance.

For its 49th staging, the event will be held from April 3-6, 2025 at the National Arena under the theme ‘Global Partnerships, Local Impact, Advancing Jamaica’s Reach’. Held over four days, the first two days will be dedicated to buyers, with the other two days left open to consumers to view exhibitions, engage in product sampling and some entertainment activities. At the 2023 staging the event saw 250 exhibitors, 830 buyers from 30 countries and over 15,000 consumers.

Moderator of the evening’s proceedings Katrina Grant D’Aguilar welcomes a full house to the soft launch of Expo Jamaica 2025, held at the Jampro training room last Tuesday.
