Amber Connect offers latest tech for owners to protect their cars

Leads way with 2G to 4G migration November special amid rising vehicle theft concerns

With the recent spike in motor vehicle thefts — over $600 million worth of cars reportedly stolen in St Andrew North alone since January — Amber Connect is launching an initiative to help Jamaican drivers seamlessly upgrade from outdated 2G trackers to advanced 4G, AI-powered solutions.

“Vehicle theft has been a growing concern, especially with recent news highlighting the alarming rate of stolen cars in St Andrew North. Midnight marauders are becoming more aggressive, targeting vehicles across neighbourhoods,” said Dushyant Savadia, founder and CEO of Amber Connect.

“Our mission is to provide Jamaicans with the tools to combat this wave of theft, using the power of AI-driven technology and 4G connectivity.”

Amber Connect is a Jamaican-born leader in vehicle tracking and telematics that is taking proactive steps to ensure vehicle owners across the country are equipped with the latest technology to protect their cars, launching limited-time upgrade campaign for November.

Amber Connect’s migration package includes a free 4G vehicle tracker, Amber Shield (AI-powered theft defence), Stolen Vehicle Recovery in partnership with Hawkeye and Professional Installation.

This special offer is available only for the month of November, and it ensures that customers will continue to have reliable tracking coverage as 2G technology is phased out.

The phase-out of 2G technology is already happening and planned to be fully switched off until the end of the year, meaning vehicle owners with 2G trackers risk losing their connection and security coverage if they don’t upgrade.

Amber Connect’s 4G solution offers significant upgrades from traditional 2G trackers, enhancing the security and efficiency of vehicle tracking.

The package offers Real-Time Tracking with a 1-Second Refresh Rate with faster, most accurate tracking, giving car owners real-time updates on their vehicle’s location and movements.

Amber Shield Theft Defense leverages AI to provide proactive protection by detecting potential theft attempts and instantly activating security features.

Hawkeye Stolen Vehicle Recovery security teams ensure quick response and effective vehicle recovery in the event of theft.

There is 24/7 customer support ensuring users can get help whenever they need it, with additional advanced AI for enhanced management and security beyond personal vehicle security. Amber Connect’s fleet solutions provide businesses with an AI-powered platform designed for efficiency and cost savings. Features include AI Dispatch Management for automatic route optimisation and driver assignments, integrated AI dashcams that monitor driver behaviour and road conditions in real-time, and a target dashboard that offers actionable insights to enhance performance and reduce operational costs.

Additional features, such as fuel theft monitoring, help fleet managers track and prevent fuel-related losses, ensuring maximum security and efficiency for their operations. Amber Connect’s fleet technology empowers businesses to maintain full visibility and control over their assets, minimising risks and optimising resources.

Amber Connect’s 4G solution not only ensures uninterrupted service, but also equips drivers with the latest AI technology to stay ahead of criminals.

“[T]here has never been a more critical time to upgrade. Amber Connect and Hawkeye are proud to offer a best-in-the-market solution that is trusted by the people of Jamaica,” Derrick “Ricky” Mahfood, executive chairman of Hawkeye added.

More information on how to upgrade to Amber Connect’s 4G solution is available at (876) AMBER-55 or Hawkeye at (876) 926-HAWK.
