PNP withdraws Lawrence Rowe as candidate for Kingston Central
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The People’s National Party (PNP) has withdrawn Lawrence Rowe as its candidate for Member of Parliament for Kingston Central.
The announcement was made in a statement released on Saturday.
“We thank Comrade Rowe for his service to the party and his efforts in representing the people of Kingston Central. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” the PNP said.
The party noted that its leadership has been meeting with Rowe and the constituency executive during this transition period to emphasise that the constituency’s interests are paramount.
The PNP reiterated its commitment to ensuring the people of Kingston Central receive strong and effective representation that serves them and uplifts their lives.
