Dancehall artiste Shizzle Sherlock releases Whites remix
Dancehall artiste Shizzle Sherlock has released an official remix of Masicka’s hit Whites.
It was released on December 20, 2024.
“I was never thinking about it. I just get a phone call from Juxxy Fiyah, the bad selector, and he said, ‘Listen to this,’ and we took it from there. This is an official remix because the only thing this song needed was a good intro,” the deejay told the Jamaica Observer.
The remix begins with a snippet of Shizzle Sherlock’s popular song Think A Chattingz.
He explained that Masicka endorsed the remix before it was finalised.
“The artiste [Masicka] liked the post first then he DM [direct messaged] me and said, ‘Wicked remix!’ He also did the official remix video with me,” he said.
Shizzle Sherlock, whose real name is Omar Barker, was born in Mount Salem in Montego Bay, St James.
His love for fashion outpaced his talent for cricket while he was in high school, and as soon as he graduated he started out with a trio known as the Sherlock Family. His zany fashion sense made headlines and soon this led to bookings in countries such as England and Canada.
Adding that the remix has received massive support in New York, he noted that he is working on an EP for release this year, as well as other singles.
