Gas prices up $0.71, $1.16, diesel up $3.06
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, January 16, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane will be sold for $163.30 per litre after an increase of $0.71, while 87-octane will be sold for $155.29 per litre up by $1.16.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $165.32 per litre after an increase of $3.06 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $173.32 per litre also up by $3.06.
Kerosene increased by $2.20 and will be sold for $149.22 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $74.39 per litre up by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $83.22 per litre after a decrease of $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
