P’damore prepares to release first EP
In These Times, the first EP from P’damore, will be released in March. The Toronto-based singer, whose real name is Enos Robinson, co-produced the project with Omar Smith.
It contains the previously released songs, Mi Know Shame and Follow mi Mind, which he recorded as Mr Vigorous during the 1990s.
“I feel excited about releasing my first EP, but a little anxious at the same time,” said P’damore.
The EP also contains the title song and Fish Out of Water. Last year saw the release of a video for the latter, the first of his career which began in the 1990s.
Released in 2023, Fish Out of Water was the second song he recorded as P’damore. His first, also released that year, was Mama mi Find The Right Person.
They marked the Trelawny-born artiste’s return to the music business after a 15-year break. Citing personal reasons, he took that extended leave but maintained ties to the scene by regularly visiting recording studios.
As Mr Vigorous, P’damore recorded songs throughout the 1990s such as False Money and Mi Know Shame for producers such as Phillip Fraser.
After discovering that another artiste had a similar stage name, he shed Mr Vigorous for the more exotic P’damore and relaunched his career in Canada two years ago.
