Zendaya joins ‘Shrek 5’ cast as Shrek’s daughter
Actress Zendaya has joined the cast of Shrek 5.
According to a Variety news report, she will voice the character of Felicia, the daughter of Shrek and Fiona, voiced by Mike Myers and Cameron Diaz, respectively.
Universal and DreamWorks, the studios behind the animated movie, made the announcement in a teaser released across social media platforms on Thursday.
Captioned “Far, Far Away’s finest are coming”, the teaser shows Shrek’s sidekick Donkey, voiced by Eddie Murphy, asking, “Hey Magic Mirror, who’s the fairest of them all?” to which he responds, “Why Shrek, of course!”
Magic Mirror then shows different versions of Shrek which prompts an “Ew, dad!” from his daughter Felicia.
The movie is expected to be released in Christmas 2026.
