Gin N Juice returns on April 5 at Jamaica College for a night of high-energy soca and retro music in a unique clash format.

Promoter Gregg Smith promises an unforgettable experience, with DJ Lantern MD and Richie Ras from Team Soca facing off against Mix Master Marvin and DJ Lank from Team Retro.

“It’s simple, really…our patrons want it, they look out for it, and so we’re always inspired to give them what they want,” Smith told the Jamaica
Observer.

This year’s theme, Soca vs Retro, will see the DJs battling to outplay each other with their musical skills.

“It’s going to be an exciting, high-energy showdown,” Smith added, noting that Team Soca’s “young kings” will go up against the seasoned veterans of Team Retro.

Jamaica College, which debuted as the venue in December, will again play host.

“The central location, secure parking, and spacious outdoor area check all the boxes for a great experience,” Smith explained.

With sponsors like Mother’s and Double 7 Energy Drink, Pure Country juices, and iPrint Digital Services returning, the event is set to be a hit.

“We’ve been entertaining our patrons for over 30 years, and we know how to deliver the time of your life. Our loyal patrons have never failed to come out, and this clash will be tremendous,” said Smith.

Gates open at 9:00 pm.
