Two men arrested, two firearms seized in Patrick City
The police seized two prohibited weapons and arrested two men in the Patrick City, Kingston 20 area on Thursday.
Reports are two cops were on mobile patrol duty in Patrick City when upon entering a certain bar, two suspicious looking men were spotted. The officers then tactically approached them and effected a search of their persons. Both men were found to be in possession of prohibited weapons and ammunition, which were seized and the men arrested.
The firearms seized were a Taurus Armas Pistol with magazine containing two 9mm rounds and a Sig Sauer P226 Pistol with the serial number erased with one magazine containing three 9mm cartridges.
The men arrested and charged in relation to the seizures are 35-year-old Jamoy Chusney of a Patrick Drive, Kingston 20 address and 28-year-old Diallo Grey, also of Patrick Drive.
Further checks revealed there is an outstanding warrant for Chusney for a breach of the Road Traffic Act.
