One common denominator in suggested skincare routines — whether from certified dermatologists or
TikTok ‘beauty experts’ — is the use of sunscreen! And contrary to popular belief, it isn’t just for beach days but rather a daily essential for everyone, including those with skin of colour.

To mitigate these risks, I explored, researched and incorporated modern, safer UV filters that offer effective sun protection with a reduced toxicity profile”.
