As an artiste manager, Corey Wallace has done well bringing dancehall sensation RajahWild to the fore.

Wallace, who also handles the careers of rising newcomers Glorii and Insight, has stepped into the production game with his Unapologetic Muziq label.

The label has released the Miami Vibes rhythm, the Spanish Town-based producer’s first juggling project.

“Miami Vibes rhythm is different. Ever since the beatmaker Messiah sent it, the energy then connected, the sound is perfectly unmatched, we then brought it to the studio where we had Glorii record a song. From there, we started sending it to a few artistes to get in the vocals,” said Wallace.

Wallace said he learnt the art of production through trial and error. He made his production debut with Nuh Mercy by Insight, which was released in August 2022.

Wallace, who was raised between Angels and Ensom City in Spanish Town, studied at Eltham High. He said the high point for him musically came about in 2023 when he produced breakout hit songs for RajahWild including Carry On, Sin Out, and Powder.

“The high point for me was in 2023 when we started off the year with hit songs like Sin Out and then everything just went historical from there. We produced back-to-back hit songs like Carry On and Powder and the list goes on,” said Wallace, who shared that he first started managing Insight and then RajahWild came on board after.

The Miami Vibes rhythm features hard-hitting songs by RajahWild, ShaqStar, Glorii, Najeeriii, Insight, Bito and RaniRasta City. Other artistes are slated to voice on the beat.
