‘She is a STAR’

National Baking Company joins forces with We Inspire Girls at Edith Dalton James High

IN celebration of just-ended International Women’s Month 2025, National Baking Company Limited sponsored the We Inspire Girls recent stop at Edith Dalton James High School.

The company’s Brand Manager Marielle Wade used the visit to deliver a thought-provoking presentation around the theme ‘She is Virtuous… Skilful, Talented, Ambitious and Resilient (She is a STAR)’.

The event gathered young girls from the school community to urge them to embrace their individuality and recognise the strength within.

Wade emphasised the importance of nurturing these qualities, stating, “Girls today are the leaders of tomorrow; by empowering them to be skilful, talented, ambitious, and resilient, we are paving the way for a brighter future.”

According to Wade, National Baking Company is deeply committed to fostering community growth and supporting initiatives that align with its core values of integrity, community, and empowerment.

“As a company, we believe in the potential of every girl. When we uplift their voices and talents, we not only change individual lives; we transform communities,” added Wade.

We Inspire Girls is designed to instil confidence and leadership skills in young girls, encouraging them to pursue their dreams fearlessly.

“The success of this initiative reflects the need for more businesses to step forward and support such empowering programmes. Together, we can create an environment where every girl knows she is a STAR,” said Wade.

“We encourage other companies to join us in supporting initiatives that inspire and uplift the next generation of women. Let us work hand in hand to foster an inclusive society where every girl has the opportunity to thrive,” added Wade.
