Rickey Teetz ready to conquer Guyana

Montego Bay-based dancehall artiste Rickey Teetz is eagerly anticipating yet another Caribbean performance this year as he is one of the headliners for a dancehall show scheduled for May 2 at the Ultra lounge in Guyana.

“I always enjoy performing for the Guyanese people because of their love for dancehall music. I have a growing fan base in the Caribbean and the diaspora and I am really focused this year on expanding my reach in these countries,” said Rickey Teetz.

The ‘Lighters Up’ artiste recently did a gig in Trinidad where he performed at the popular Spas Night Club.

He is ramping up the promotion of his new songs as the busy summer period approaches. To that end, he released a song called ‘Dark Heart’ which has generated over 20,000 views on YouTube.

“I am getting ready to shoot another music video for another banger in May, it’s all work for Rickey Teetz, just songs pon top of songs, all topics, party songs, conscious songs, I am working with a lot of top producers,” he shared.

Rickey Teetz is best known for songs such as ‘1000 Block’, ‘Lighters Up’, ‘Dolla’ and his latest single, ‘Prime’ which has racked up 10,000 views on Youtube since its release.

He will be performing at ‘All White 3.0’ in Sunderland District on April 26. Other shows coming up include ‘God is the Greatest’ on May 6th and Keneil Merital Birthday Bash on May 20th.
