Today’s Horoscope – May 5

Happy Birthday for Monday, May 5, 2025. The day is bursting with energy, giving us the motivation and enthusiasm needed to move forward with plans, ideas and projects. We’re encouraged to think big and be bold rather than giving into self-doubt or entertaining self-limiting beliefs. At the same time, we should be thoughtful about our choices and decisions. Taking calculated risks instead of rushing head first into a decision will ensure that we achieve the best outcomes. Learning how to balance creativity with practicality will enable us to reach our goals.

ARIES (March 21 to April 19) — You may be ready to jump on an idea or opportunity, and the cosmos say, “Go for it!” Just try not to get too far ahead of yourself, though.

TAURUS (April 20 to May 20) — Avoid making decisions from a stressed or frustrated place. Take a breather.

GEMINI (May 21 to June 20) — Don’t ruminate on the worst-case scenario. Focus on the most positive outcome.

CANCER (June 21 to July 22) — If you’re feeling like the hard work you’re doing is all for nothing, don’t. Your efforts will soon pay off.

LEO (July 23 to Aug 22) — Maybe it’s best to get some help or advice before rushing into a project or commitment.

VIRGO (Aug 23 to Sept 22) — Instead of doing or taking on more, try doing less.

LIBRA (Sept 23 to Oct 22) — Try not to jump to conclusions about anything. Talk it out with whoever is involved.

SCORPIO (Oct 23 to Nov 21) — You may be feeling the pressure today, especially from others. Stay focused, move at your own pace, and do what you do best!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22 to Dec 21) — Don’t be so quick to say “yes” to something without determining if it’s right for you.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22 to Jan 19) — A creative hobby or outlet can provide you with an opportunity to decompress.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20 to Feb 18) — Others won’t know how you feel until you tell them. Open up.

PISCES (Feb 19 to March 20) — Stay flexible and focus on what you can control.

FOR TODAY’S BIRTHDAY

You know how to take ideas and thoughts and make them into a reality. You’re witty, resourceful and astute. You have a knack for understanding others and the things that they need, which is why you’re often the go-to person for advice or a kind word. Plus, you have a likable personality that draws people in. After going through a lengthy process of change and transition, this chapter of your life is coming to a close soon. A brand-new chapter awaits!

Birthdate of: Adele, singer-songwriter; Chris Brown, singer-songwriter; Henry Cavill, actor.
