Catherine’s Peak gifts care packages to new moms at Spanish Town Hospital

KINGSTON, Jamaica —Representatives of Catherine’s Peak – distributed by Grace Foods- visited Spanish Town Hospital on Sunday and gifted mothers on the maternity ward with care packages.

Each basket was filled with essentials for both mom and baby, including diapers, wipes, body wash, sanitary napkins, hand soap, baby blankets, and a case of Catherine’s Peak pure spring water.

“At Grace Foods, we are all about making good moves, and Mother’s Day is one of those extra special day for us at Catherine’s Peak where we ensure we take the time to celebrate and appreciate the incredible role mothers play every day,” said Rochell Samuels-Black, brand manager with responsibility for the Catherine’s Peak portfolio.

“Whether they’re becoming moms for the first time or welcoming another child, it’s such a special chapter, and we are happy to share in that. As a family brand, we are playing our small part in making the day feel a little brighter for these moms at the Spanish Town Hospital,” added Samuels-Black.

The gesture was met with smiles and thanks from mothers and staff on the ward.

Registered midwife Suzette Lewis,  acting midwife supervisor at the hospital, expressed gratitude for the gesture.

“We truly appreciate Catherine’s Peak for taking the time to recognise our mothers. It’s always meaningful when companies make the effort to bring joy to our patients, especially on special occasions like this,” said Lewis.

Last year for Mother’s Day, the Catherine’s Peak team gifted moms at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital with gift packages.
