‘Venom’ listed among 15 targeted by police in islandwide manhunt

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) says it has launched an intensified islandwide search for 15 men it described as “significant drivers of crime in communities”.

With alleged crimes ranging from murder and shooting with intent to wounding with intent and robbery with aggravation, those wanted are urged to surrender immediately to the police.

The individuals listed are:

— Delano Leslie, otherwise called “Crazy” or “Brown Man” of Claremont District, Hanover. He frequents Johnson Town in Hanover and Cornwall Mountain in Westmoreland and is wanted for murder;

— Travis Grizzle, otherwise called “Baggio” of Hellgate, Sandy Bay in Hanover. He frequents Petersfield in Westmoreland, and Green Island and Sandy Bay in Hanover, and is wanted for wounding with intent;

— Devar Hodges, otherwise called “Skeddo/Blackhead” of Trysee, Browns Town, St Ann. He frequents Standfast, Spanish Town in St Catherine, St Elizabeth, Westmoreland, and Rockfort in Kingston and is wanted for wounding with intent;

— Derrick Johnson, otherwise called “Bryon Finne” or “President Bush” of Alexander Road, Kingston 13. He frequents Fourth and Fifth Streets in Greenwich Town, Kingston and is wanted for murder;

— Tavarse Brown, otherwise called “Chops” or “Redman” of National Heroes Circle, Kingston 4 and Arnold Road, Kingston 4. He is wanted for murder;

— Courtney Sands, otherwise called “Joshua” of Stephen Street, Kingston 4. He frequents Allman Town, Kingston 4 and Bull Bay, St Andrew and is wanted for murder;

— Alando Gray, otherwise called “Platinum” or “Venom” of Gregory Park, St Catherine. He frequents Seven Heights in May Pen, Clarendon and Central Village, St Catherine. He is wanted for murder;

— Desmond Kelly, otherwise called “Chukku” of Narine Lane, Old Harbour Bay in St Catherine. He frequents Freetown, Clarendon and Marlie Acres, St Catherine and is wanted for shooting with intent;

— Janoi Burch of Gulf District, Gregory Park in St Catherine who is wanted for shooting with intent;

— Alex Cobourn, otherwise called “Lex” of Board Villa, Fort Stewart in St Mary. He frequents Dover and Enfield in St Mary, as well as sections of Spanish Town and is wanted for murder;

— Gaveen Hurd, otherwise called “Bones” of Highgate, St Mary. He frequents Three Hills and Stewart Town in St Mary as well as Stony Hill, St Andrew and is wanted for escaping custody;

— Andrew Dixon, otherwise called “Bapm” of Cane Lane, Annotto Bay in St Mary. He frequents Buff Bay, Portland and Highgate, St Mary, and is wanted for wounding with intent;

— Kafore Bartley, otherwise called “Hunter” or “Sparta” of Race Track and Treadlight District in May Pen, Clarendon. He is wanted for murder;

— Andre Lewis, otherwise called “Bigga” of Red Hills Road, Kingston 19. He frequents Park and 100 Lane and is wanted for murder; and

— Panif Bloomfield, otherwise called “Chang” of Buzz Rock Farm in Effortville, Clarendon. He is wanted for robbery with aggravation and shooting with intent.

The police are urging members of the public with any information regarding the whereabouts of these individuals to come forward and assist in their apprehension. The police said all information will be treated in the strictest confidence
