Racers Grand Prix: Shericka Jackson wins 200m in season’s best

KINGSTON, Jamaica — World Champion Shericka Jackson continued her build up to the Jamaican national championships as she ran a season’s best 22.53 seconds (1.0m/s) to win the women’s 200m at the Racers Grand Prix at the National Stadium in Kingston on Saturday.

It was her second 200m race of the season after finishing second in 22.79 seconds at a Diamond League meet in China.

Canadian national record holder Audrey Leduc was second in a season’s best 22.80 seconds with American Caisja Chandler third in 22.92 seconds.
