Two of dancehall’s fiercest voices, Iwaata and Aidonia, have created a fiery new single titled Never Basic, produced by the internationally acclaimed, Grammy-nominated hitmaker Troyton of Troyton Music.

The track, which blends an old-school rhythm with a modern edge, was released and distributed by 21st Hapilos Digital Distribution Inc on Friday, June 6, 2025.

With a beat that commands movement, it’s a powerful reminder of dancehall’s golden era infused with today’s flair.

Iwaata delivers smooth melodic vocals that seamlessly contrast with the signature rough-edged intensity of Aidonia. Together they craft a lyrical narrative that celebrates confidence, style, and standing out.

One of the standout lines, “Good music lives on fi ages,” speaks to the timelessness of true dancehall artistry.
