JUTC, MoBay Metro launch new route from Montego Bay to Lucea

ST JAMES, Jamaica — The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) and Montego Bay Metro have announced a new dedicated route now servicing Montego Bay, St James to Lucea, Hanover.

Along the new route, adults will pay $130 for travel, children will pay $60 and senior citizens and persons with disabilities will pay $50 in fare.

This service is designed to meet the transportation needs of both students and the commuting public, providing safe, reliable and affordable access along this corridor.

The JUTC said the latest route underscores its continued commitment to expanding service coverage and improving commuter convenience across western Jamaica.
