Amber Group to fund education for employees’ children across all locations
KINGSTON, Jamaica — As it marks its 10th anniversary, Jamaican-founded tech firm Amber Group has announced a new initiative to cover up to 100 per cent of education fees for the children of its employees across all the countries in which it operates.
The move, described by the company as a long-term investment in its workforce, will benefit staff in its 14 subsidiaries worldwide, which span industries such as fintech, artificial intelligence, mobility, and security.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dushyant Savadia said the initiative is aimed at ensuring employees are not forced to choose between their children’s educational aspirations and financial constraints.
“With this initiative, no Amber parent will ever have to choose between their child’s dreams and what they can afford,” said Savadia. “We’re investing where it matters most — our people.”
Since its founding in 2015, Amber Group has expanded rapidly, contributing to the development of Jamaica’s tech industry while also operating globally. The education support initiative is the company’s latest employee benefit, designed to support the families of its workforce and promote long-term development.
“This isn’t charity. It’s legacy-building,” Savadia added. “We’re fuelling the next generation of thinkers, builders and changemakers — starting with our own families.”
