Blitz 2025 set to deliver style and sound during Reggae Sumfest

KINGSTON, Jamaica — As the countdown to Reggae Sumfest continues, Blitz All Black erupts at Catherine Hall Stadium in Montego Bay on July 16, fusing Stalk Ashley’s genre-defying vocals and Valiant’s raw dancehall energy with the sonic mastery of Code Red Sound, Bloodline Franco, Brush1, and Ashlie.

“Blitz All Black is our boldest chapter yet,” said Executive of Marketing, Events and Hospitality at Downsound Entertainment, Karla Jankee. “We’re crafting a night where music, fashion and culture collide. From pocket-friendly to VIP bottle and table packages, to sleek production and immersive design—every element turns this into the ultimate main-event experience.”

Organisers are encouraging partygoers to experience the eighth staging of Blitz’s signature all-black takeover and watch the stadium transform into a runway of culture and sophistication. Patrons should expect surprises, giveaways and social-media-dominating moments that keep the energy at a fever pitch.

Andrew Ellis, the brand manager at Str8 Vybz Rum—official spirit of Blitz— is guaranteeing an atmosphere unmatched on Jamaica’s nightlife scene.

“Blitz is the epicentre of fashion and fun, and Str8 Vybz is proud to fuel that fever with our bold, flavourful rum. This is where every toast becomes legendary,” Ellis said.

“Gather your friends, curate your sleekest black ensemble and get ready to ignite Catherine Hall Stadium, Montego Bay!” the organisers added.
