National Trials 2025: Nickisha Pryce repeats as 400m champion

KINGSTON, Jamaica – National record holder Nickisha Pryce retained her women’s 400m crown at the JAAA National Championships on Sunday, running a well-judged race to win the final in 49.97 seconds.

The race was still close with 150 metres to go but Pryce dug deep and separated herself from the pack to cross the line first.

Second-placed Dejanae Oakley and third-placed Stacey Ann Williams were credited with the same time, 50.087 seconds.

Leah Anderson was fifth with 50.78 seconds and Shaquena Foote sixth in 51.42 seconds running from lane eight.
