Thug Famous and Tommy Lee Sparta team-up for 7.7
KINGSTON, Jamaica—Dancehall artiste Thug Famous says collaborating with one of his musical idols, Tommy Lee Sparta, was like a dream come true.
“It was a great experience as a young artiste working with an artiste like Tommy Lee Sparta. This highly anticipated collaboration is coming out later this month and it is called 7.7,” Thug Famous told Observer Online on Thursday.
“The collaboration came about when he was locked up, we actually did the song over the phone, and I think the public will appreciate the song,” Thug Famous added.
Thug Famous has been buzzing on the underground circuit in recent times. The confident and sometimes controversial artiste says he is ready to dominate the dancehall space with originality and charisma.
“Music forward to me naturally just like how the girls dem love me naturally suh me nah fi force it cause is just a natural and smooth progression to stardom yuh zimmie. Me forward fi represent fi di real youths and di ladies of course. Talent is just one aspect of my presentation. Look out for theatrical performances and big collaborations,” he shared.
The Grants Pen native says he has always had a passion for music and as such he was encouraged by family members and members of his community to pursue music as a career.
Songs including Vice Grip, Addicted and Freddy Krueger which features Savage Savo and Shawn Ice are some of buzzworthy tunes that have kept Thug Famous on the musical radar over the past few months.
On August 8, his latest single Crazy Life was released. It was produced by Mad Dawg Entertainment.
