Thrilling showdown expected in Distinctly Irish Trophy
A highly anticipated clash is set to unfold at Caymanas Park this afternoon as Horse of the Year Funcaandun takes on talented Barnaby in the $1.75-million Distinctly Irish Trophy. The competition promises to be fierce, with both horses boasting impressive credentials.
The Graded Stakes/Open Allowance contest for three-year-olds and upward over nine furlongs and 25 yards is the feature event on a 10-race card, scheduled to start at 5:05 pm. Funcaandun has won 10 times from 14 starts, including last year’s ultra-rich Mouttet Mile race.
