74-year-old security guard dies after hit-and-run in St Ann
ST ANN, Jamaica—A 74-year-old man died as a result of injuries he sustained in a suspected hit-and-run incident on Development Road, Ocho Rios, in St Ann, on Monday, November 3.
He has been identified as Rohan Murray, a security guard of Charlestown, St Mary.
Reports from the Ocho Rios Police are that about 8:00 pm, Murray was hit by a motor car as he attempted to cross the roadway. The motor car did not stop.
Murray was taken to the hospital, where he died while being treated.
The police are urging the driver of the motor car to turn himself in at the nearest police station immediately.
