Grandstand tickets sold out for Reggae Boyz’ deciding World Cup qualifier
KINGSTON, Jamaica – It seems the Reggae Boyz will have plenty of support when they face Curacao at the National Stadium on Tuesday in a bid for automatic qualification to the 2026 World Cup.
The $8,000 Grandstand tickets for the match, which kicks off at 8pm, are already sold out. However, regular Bleachers ($2,000); Premium Bleachers ($4,000); VIP ($12,500); and Skyline Seats ($25,000) tickets were still available when Observer Online checked the booking website on Saturday evening.
Jamaica must win the match to secure automatic qualification to what would be their second Fifa World Cup, almost three decades after their first appearance in 1998.
It follows Thursday’s disappointing 1-1 draw with Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) in Port of Spain, a result that saw the Reggae Boyz slip to second in their Group B qualifying group on 10 points. Curaçao’s 7-0 win over Bermuda pushed them to the top of the table on 11 points, meaning Jamaica now need nothing less than a win to finish first.

Jamaica Football Federation Technical Committee Chairman Rudolph Speid earlier issued a rallying call to the nation ahead of the match.
“I’d like everybody to come out and support the national team. We need a victory in the National Stadium, and remember, wear your yellow,” he said.
The National Stadium has a seating capacity of around 29,000.
