For My Love gets the nod in maiden special weight contest

Eight juveniles are down to contest tomorrow’s $1.01-million Garot Luxury Stone Trophy, a native-bred two-year-old maiden special weight event over 5 ½ furlongs (1,100m).

Below is the analysis of each runner and their chances of winning.

1. MO PAI: (2 b c by Savoy Stomp – Money Magnet) – Nicely-bred colt who makes his debut here.
Mo Pai has worked fairly well and is expected to run well without actually winning.

2. DILLSBURY: (2 b c by Wow Wow – Curlin’s MacBeth) – Well-bred juvenile who also makes his debut here. Dillsbury is expected to make a bold bid in this one.

3. LONDON SPIRIT: (2 b c by Bern Identity – Blufield) – Out for the first time. London Spirit looks a good one in the making and should benefit from the exposure here.

4. THE CHEF MASTER: (2 b c by Here Comes Ben – Dancing Riddim) – Has no winning chance.

5. WAH A GWANN: (2 b c by Aveenu Malcainu – She’s Irie) – Has raced two times already while showing nothing. That should be the same case here.

6. FOR MY LOVE: (2 b f by Sensational Slam – For Trixie) – Well-bred runner who looks to be a smart one in the making. For My Love has trained really well and could open her account right away.

7. BLOOD DIAMOND: (2 b f by Conquest Cherimash – Working Carol K) – Is going to be left behind.

8. DARWIN: (2 b c Casual Trick – Cape) – Should make the grade in due time.
