Dunbeholden hold Arnett to draw in JPL
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Arnett Gardens moved up three places to fifth in the points table despite playing out a 1-1 draw with Dunbeholden FC in their rescheduled Jamaica Premier League (JPL) game on Thursday.
The point saw Arnett Gardens improve to 30 points, ahead of Waterhouse FC on goal-difference, while Dunbeholden FC stayed in 10th place on 26 points after ending a three-game losing run.
Thursday’s game was the second time the teams had met in 10 days, after Arnett Gardens had won 1-0 on February 2.
Shadeko Wizzard, who replaced Rushike Kelson in the 14th minute, gave Arnett Gardens the lead in the 25th minute, but Dunbeholden FC grabbed the equaliser in the 50th minute when Atapharoy Bygrave scored from the penalty spot.
