Da’Country releases new album ‘TALLAWAH’

With the release of his highly anticipated new album, TALLAWAH, up-and-coming Montego Bay-based artiste Da’Country is hoping to solidify his spot as one of the most exciting and authentic voices in modern reggae music.

The album, released September 27 via Country Pain Records, has 16 tracks including Hot, Run That, Dark Days, Solid Heart and the fan favourites SWSB and Good Morning.

“This album has 16 tracks and there is something for everyone. From themes of upliftment, perseverance and daily life, each song strikes a major chord with listeners from all walks of life,” said Da’Country.

Living up to its name — a Jamaican term meaning strong, resilient, and not to be underestimated —TALLAWAH’s body of work is easily relatable.

“I am pleased with the outcome of this project. I made sure to capture the essence of roots reggae while infusing it with a modern and relatable edge,” Da’Country explained.

With TALLAWAH, Da’Country isn’t just making music, he’s making a statement. If the current momentum in Montego Bay is any indicator, the rest of the world will be tuning in very soon.
