PAJ kicks off 2025 National Journalism Week
THE Press Association of Jamaica kicked off the delayed 2025 National Journalism Week on Sunday with the annual church service at Holiness Christian Church in Portmore, St Catherine, under the theme ‘Truth, Always’.
The week had been postponed from last November due to the passage of Hurricane Melissa.
The celebration of the 2025 National Journalism Week continues on Wednesday with the annual Veterans’ Luncheon where people who have served for more than 30 years will be honoured.
On Thursday the annual media workshop will be conducted in partnership with UNICEF Jamaica. This year the workshop has been dubbed, ‘Ethical Reporting on Children’.
The week will end on Saturday with the National Journalism Awards, which will have at as its highpoint the announcement of the 2025 Journalist of the Year.
