Today’s Horoscope – May 6

HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Wednesday, May 6, 2026. It may be a slow start to the day because of this morning’s gloomy cosmic weather. Managing our expectations at work and in our personal lives can help reduce pressure on our relationships as well as pressure to meet or surpass our goals for the day or the remainder of the week. Exercising patience and care toward ourselves and others will also be helpful in keeping stress and frustration low. For anyone feeling especially moody or unmotivated, know that the current vibes are only temporary. By the end of the week, the positive energy returns.

ARIES (March 21 to April 19)

Don’t be so hard on yourself. You have more going for you than you might realise.

TAURUS (April 20 to May 20)

You may need to make an extra effort to find something that makes you feel hopeful, but it’s out there.

GEMINI (May 21 to June 20)

You may not be in the mood to socialise or be around too many people today. Maybe a friend cancels on plans. That’s fine. You need a timeout anyway.

CANCER (June 21 to July 22)

Asking for help can make your life and your workload easier to manage.

LEO (July 23 to Aug 22)

Don’t give up before you even start. Put a plan together and take it one step at a time. You’ll get where you want to be.

VIRGO (Aug 23 to Sept 22)

It takes courage to wear your heart on your sleeve. Be brave.

LIBRA (Sept 23 to Oct 22)

An open and honest discussion can pave the way for real trust and intimacy.

SCORPIO (Oct 23 to Nov 21)

Talking to your partner or a trusted friend could provide you with the encouragement you need.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 2 to Dec 21)

Something you want might be financially out of your reach. Maybe you can start saving for it or find a more affordable option.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22 to Jan 19)

Getting a big dose of fun can help you beat the blues.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20 to Feb 18)

If your brain feels fried, prayer, meditation, or getting some extra rest can help ease your mind. Come back to the project or issue when you’re feeling refreshed.

PISCES (Feb 19 to March 20)

The only way to get what you want is if you ask. Don’t assume the answer will be no.

FOR TODAY’S BIRTHDAY

You may be a highly sought-after person because of your skills or insight. Others may call on you for guidance or ideas. As a thoughtful and caring person, you put a lot of effort into your work and your relationships. However, you may not always get the same amount of effort in return. Knowing your value and how much you have to offer can help you better identify the people and projects that deserve your time and attention. This year, you may find yourself ready to break free of relationships or situations that are hindering growth instead of fuelling it.

Birthdate of: George Clooney, actor-director; Angel Reese, professional basketball player; Gabourey Sidibe, actress-director.
