Queen Ifrica has debuted a new single Mom Like Me via Nuh Rush Records as anticipation builds towards the release of her forthcoming album Breath of Life.

Produced by IAmNuhRush, Mom Like Me follows the strong international response to her March single Lanton (Lantern), which continues to gain traction across radio and streaming platforms.

Since its release, Lanton has generated confirmed radio spins across 193 stations in 39 countries, with particularly strong activity in Europe, North America, and the UK reggae radio circuit. The record has received support from multiple UK roots and community stations, reinforcing Queen Ifrica’s continued relevance in curated, message-driven listening spaces.

With Mom Like Me Queen Ifrica shifts the narrative to the territory of family. The track centres on the strength of a mother’s love across scenarios that hold true for mothers in various walks of life.

The song’s release aligned with Mother’s Day, but takes the subject to a deeper level with its lyrical imagery rooted in realities faced by many families across geographic, cultural, and economic boundaries.

The single continues the visual theme introduced by Lanton, wherein divine light and guidance frame the record.

With Mom Like Me that idea takes a more personal form — a mother holding steady through difficult circumstances, keeping the light on regardless of what comes, as she declares “loving my children is all I know to do…”

The release arrives as Queen Ifrica prepares for her first major international show of 2026. Set for May 25, City Splash Festival in Brixton, London, is one of the UK’s leading reggae and Caribbean music events. With an all-star line-up that includes Beres Hammond, Gyptian, and The Congos, the performance further reinforces her strong position within the UK market.

Mom Like Me is the second of three singles leading into the summer release of her new album, Breath of Life.
