Jamaica and Ireland to deepen business ties
JAMAICA’S high-level trade and investment team, now on a mission to Ireland and the United Kingdom (UK), has forged an agreement to deepen trade and business ties.
During a meeting at Ireland’s Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment on Wednesday, members of the Jamaican delegation, led by state minister in the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce Delano Seiveright, conducted discussions focused on Ireland’s economic transformation through enterprise development, investment, tourism and export growth, and opportunities for deeper Jamaica-Ireland collaboration in trade, investment, and business development.
The ongoing trade and investment mission is being coordinated by Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO), with participation from the Jamaica Special Economic Zone Authority (JSEZA) and members of the Jamaican private sector.
Participating companies include Wisynco Group Limited, Grace Foods UK, Optimity Group, Joan Miller Organics, Hyrie Wellness, One on One Educational Services Limited, and several other Jamaican firms actively seeking to expand international partnerships and market access.
