Reggae band Iration scores 11th entry on Billboard with Where it All Began

Santa Barbara, California-based reggae band Iration scores its 11th entry on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart with Where it All Began, a 14-track set which was released May 1 via Three Prong Records.

It débuts at #8.

The set features Grammy-winning artiste Kabaka Pyramid on the track Stay Positive.

Iration has to date earned four #1 titles on the reggae table — Iration, Time Bomb, Hotting Up, and Automatic.

The band’s other charted entries include 2016’s Double Up (#2), Coastin (#2 in 2020), Fresh Grounds EP (#3 in 2011), and Backyard Sessions which peaked at #8.

Elsewhere on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, Bob Marley & the Wailers log another week in the #1 spot, as
Legend secures its 330th non-consecutive week in pole position.

Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection by Shaggy remains at #2, while Sean Paul’s The Trinity rebounds onto the chart at #3.

World on Fire by Stick Figure and Sean Paul’s Grammy-winning Dutty Rock are #4 and #5, respectively, while
Greatest Hits by UB40 and Stick Figure’s Wisdom occupy positions #6 and #7.

Set in Stone by Stick Figure remains at #9 and Bob Marley & the Wailers dip to #10 with Exodus.

Sean Paul and Keyshia Cole’s (When You Gonna) Give it Up to Me tumbles on Billboard’s Global 200 Excluding US as it slides down from #34 to #40 in its 17th week on the chart. Meanwhile, Jamaican (Bam Bam), a reconstructed house/Afrobeats/techno version of Sister Nancy’s Bam Bam by producers HUGEL and SOLTO, backtracks from #71 to #75 in its 7th week on the chart.

Over on Billboard’s Global 200 chart, Jamaican (Bam Bam) slips from #143 to #145 in its fifth week, while
(When You Gonna) Give it Up to Me slips from #59 to #70.

Shaggy and Robin Thicke’s Looking Lovely continues to make upward movements on stateside reggae charts. However, on the Billboard Rhythmic Airplay Top 40 chart, it steps up from #35 to #32 in its third week on the chart.

The Voice of The Caribbean’s weekly Florida Reggae & Dancehall Top 20 Radio Singles chart has
Panic by Vybz Kartel and Shenseea as the new #1.

Meanwhile, Looking Lovely by Shaggy and Robin Thicke falls to #2, Ready For the Ride by Sean Paul and Stalk Ashley is a non-mover at #3. Goddess by Protoje and Shenseea is #4 and Don’t Have to Ask by Christopher Martin steps up to #5.

Valiant’s Woii, which is featured on the Hill and Gully Ride rhythm, débuts at #18, and Roar by Yaksta storms in at #20.

Over on the New York Reggae chart, Niceness by Nadine Sutherland spends a second week at #1. Struggle On by Luciano moves from #7 to #5, Ten Foot Wall by Tasha T improves from #12 to #8, and Romain Virgo’s
Be Careful bolts from #13 to #9.

I Shot the Sheriff by Etana steps in at #29 and Please Sir by Matthew Malcolm opens at #30.

Have a Little Faith by Willie Stewart and Friends remains at #1 for a second week on the South Florida Reggae chart.

Looking Lovely by Shaggy and Robin Thicke is up to #9 and The Track of My Tears by Singing Melody moves from #12 to #10.

Walk Good My Friend by Joanna Marie is new at #24 and Riding Through the Storm by Wayne Stoddart steps in at #25.

And, finally, Celena’s Feels Like a Movie takes over the #1 spot on the Reggae North Canadian top 20 Reggae and Dancehall chart.

So Long by Neto Yuth and Anthony B inches up to #2, Nah Cheat by Iley Dread falls to #3, Chant by Paris Ivy stays firm at #4, and Cucumba by Tugstar is #5.

Yesterday Once More by singer Steele moves up from #19 to #18, and My Lady by V Merchant débuts at #20.
