Woman dies after alleged police shooting at protest in Granville
ST JAMES, Jamaica — A woman who was shot earlier Sunday, allegedly by the police, has died.

She has been identified as Latoya Bulgin, popularly known as Buju, of a Granville address in the community.
The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) said it is currently investigating the fatal incident which occurred in Granville, St James.
Bulgin succumbed to her injuries while being treated at hospital, Observer Online understands.
Reports are that the woman was part of group protesting the shooting death of a teenager, 17-year-old Tjey Edwards, when she was shot as she sat around the steering of Toyota Voxy bus in the community square.
