450 sets the World On Fire
Dancehall artiste 450 has scored rising momentum with the release of his latest single,
World On Fire, officially released on May 8, 2026.
Distributed by Dubshot, the track was composed by Nbasyko and Weekday, and produced by Weekday.
World On Fire climbed to the #1 spot on the iTunes chart in Bermuda, secured the #2 position in Trinidad, and debuted at #5 in Jamaica. It is currently charting in over 20 countries globally, while the official music video — directed by TopShootah — sits at #8 on YouTube’s trending chart.
In less than a week the single surpassed one million streams and also entered the Top 20 trending sounds on
TikTok.
For 450, the overwhelming response has been both humbling and inspiring.
“My reaction is always gratitude. I love that the music I create is loved and makes a difference,” the entertainer said.
The artiste explained that World On Fire came from a deeply personal space, written during one of the more difficult periods of his life.
“This song was written while I was going through a little rough patch in my life and I just felt like the whole world was against me. Now just felt like the right time to release it so the fans could hear me express what I’m feeling. I’m sure there are plenty of people who feel the same way every now and then. The aim is that somebody else can relate and it will also help them if they’re going through a dark time in their life,” 450 continued.
Known for blending raw emotion with melodic dancehall delivery, 450 continues to connect with audiences through music rooted in honesty and lived experience. He credits both his supporters and the transformative power of music itself for keeping him motivated.
“My fans and just my love for music overall that heals and changes people’s lives,” he said when asked what continues to inspire him creatively.
As his global fan base continues to grow, the entertainer remains appreciative of the unwavering support he has received throughout his journey.
“I appreciate each and every one of them that show their constant support over the years and can’t wait for them to hear the new music I have in store for them,” he said.
Beyond the success of World On Fire, 450 is also gearing up for a busy performance season. The artiste confirmed that preparations are already underway for 450 Live NYC on May 23, and other shows across multiple territories.
“The preparation has been going great. We’re expecting a sold-out show as usual. We have a few other shows coming up in the Caribbean, Europe and Canada around the summertime,” he said.
