Gas prices up $4.50, diesel up $4.50

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, May 21, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.

90-octane will be sold for $201.82 per litre after an increase of $4.50, while 87-octane will be sold for $194.38, up $4.50.

Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $202.00 per litre after an increase of $4.50, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $208.84 per litre, up $4.50.

Kerosene increased by $4.50 and will be sold for $186.64 per litre.

Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $85.09 per litre, up $3.06, and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $97.23 per litre, up $2.00.

Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective markups to these prices.
