SAVANNA-LA-MAR, Westmoreland—One of 16 stunning beauties will be crowned Miss Universe Jamaica Westmoreland 2026 during the coronation show at the Hotel Commingle in Savanna-la-Mar on Saturday, May 23.

The journey to the crown began on March 18 when the contestants were sashed before their sponsors and an appreciative audience.

Since then, the contestants have made several appearances, including a courtesy call on Mayor of Savanna-la-Mar, Councillor Danree Delancy.

Saturday’s coronation show will feature contestants in coordinated outfits by designer Kadian Nicely during the opening segment, followed by individual appearances in swimwear and evening gown.

Sectional prizes will be awarded in various categories including most congenial, best altruism presentation, most photogenic, best in swimwear, best in gown, best social media personality and essence of style.

During the show a top 10 will be sIelected, narrowing down to a top five, followed by the interview segment, after which the top three places will be revealed, before the winner is announced.

“The ladies have worked hard and they’re ready to give an electrifying performance. It promises to be a spectacular night you don’t want to miss,” said Hannah Sheree, pageant director, as she appealed to the public to support the event.

“Come out and support our ‘brains and beauties’ representing the parish of Westmoreland in what is a highly anticipated event,” she added.

The winner will automatically advance to the National pageant, Miss Universe Jamaica 2026, to be held in August.
