Iris Sport Media, TVJ and CPSL announce broadcast partnership for 2026 World Cup

 

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaican football fans will receive extensive free-to-air and coverage of  the FIFA World Cup 2026 courtesy of  a broadcast partnership between IRIS Sport Media, Television Jamaica (TVJ) and Caribbean Premier Sports Ltd (CPSL) / RUSH Limited for the football event.

In a statement Thursday, the groups indicated the partnership features a multi-platform broadcast partnership encompassing free to-air television, pay television, streaming and digital platforms.

As part of the agreement Jamaican audiences will receive a significant package of FIFA World Cup 2026 matches on free-to-air television and digital through TVJ and One Spot Media.

CPSL’s RUSH Sports platform will also deliver extensive premium coverage across pay TV and digital streaming platforms throughout the Caribbean and coverage will include live matches, highlights, studio programming, analysis, digital content and tournament features.

Fans will be able to watch across television, mobile, tablet and connected devices, ensuring unprecedented accessibility and convenience the groups say.

“The partnership reflects a shared commitment to ensuring broad national access to the

FIFA World Cup 2026 while elevating the overall viewing experience for Jamaican football fans,” the groups indicated.

The 2026 iteration of the tournament is the largest FIFA World Cup in history and will feature the world’s top football nations including Brazil, Argentina, France, Spain, Portugal and Germany competing across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Chief Executive Officer of Caribbean Premier Sports Ltd Michael Look Tong, said: “The FIFA World Cup is more than a sporting event — it is a global cultural moment that unites people across nations and generations.”

He added “We are extremely proud to partner with IRIS and TVJ to deliver a broadcast model that combines extensive free-to-air access with premium multi-platform coverage across the Caribbean. Through RUSH Sports premium regional platforms, Jamaican fans will experience the excitement, emotion and energy of the FIFA World Cup 2026 like never before.”

Senior Consultant & Partner of IRIS LATAM Sport Media Santiago Sluzewski Monti, stated: “This partnership represents a major step forward for sports broadcasting in Jamaica. TheFIFA World Cup is one of the most anticipated sporting events in the country and this

collaboration ensures that Jamaican viewers will benefit from broad access, outstanding production quality and comprehensive tournament coverage.”

Head of TV, Ransford Ricketts of Television Jamaica (TVJ) added: “Through TVJ and 1SpotMedia, audiences across Jamaica will be able to watch the FIFA World Cup live and free, supported by comprehensive tournament coverage including pre andpost-match shows, analysis, discussions, and highlights across every platform.”

He noted that TVJ was proud to continue its tradition of bringing the world’s biggest sporting events to Jamaican audiences.

“Together with IRIS Sports, we look forward to creating a shared national viewing

experience that connects fans and communities across the island,” he said.

Additional details regarding match schedules, programming and digital experiences will be announced by respective partners prior to kick-off on June 11, 2026.
