Disciplinary actions taken by JRC stewards
The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, Unit 15-17 Big Buy Plaza, Portmore, St Catherine, on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
Jockey Delroy Beharie, who rode Unbelievable Power in the first race on Saturday, March 28, 2026, was cautioned for the excessive use of his whip.
Jockey Evertte Clunis:
• who rode Kem in the fifth race on Saturday, May 9, 2026, was cautioned for the intimidation and interference caused to Posing Already approaching the 200-metre mark.
• who rode Kem in the fifth (5th) race on Saturday, May 9, 2026 was fined Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) for the excessive use of his whip.
• who rode GALWAY BAY in the first (1st) race on Saturday, May 9, 2026 had his explanation accepted for the excessive use of his whip.
