Ten injured after two crashes in St Mary
ST MARY, Jamaica – Ten people are being treated for injuries following two motor vehicle crashes in St Mary on Friday.
The first crash happened around 12pm along the Rio Nuevo main road near the Rubio gas station. It involved a motor car and a truck. A woman and two children were injured in the incident, and were rushed to hospital for treatment.
The second crash occurred around 8pm in Annotto Bay, when a vehicle travelling from Dover lost control near the Marking Stone beach and crashed into an unoccupied shop. Seven persons were injured, including the driver and students, and were taken to the hospital
The St Mary police are investigating both incidents.
