Fashion Radar: Artwell & Co
The most precious things a father leaves behind aren’t always found in a safe. While gemstones and precious metals may define his profession, the true treasures for Artwell & Co director Andrae Artwell are the lessons, memories, and traditions shared with family.
As Father’s Day approaches, Tuesday Style Fashion (TSF) speaks with Artwell about fatherhood, style, and the legacy he hopes will endure for generations.
Tuesday Style Fashion (TF): Was the jewellery business always part of your career plan, or did the journey unfold differently?
Andrae Artwell (AA): It did unfold differently, but I’m here now loving and enjoying every day of the career God has chosen for me.

TSF: What lessons from your own father have shaped the way you run your business?
AA: I didn’t get a chance to know my dad before he passed away. But, I surely inherited his business mindset and drive; my mother always says I remind her of him.
TSF: What does Father’s Day mean to you personally?
AA: I’m just happy to be called daddy by the most beautiful lil angel on earth and I take great pride in being a father since I never got a chance to know mine!

TSF: Can you share a favourite memory involving your daughter and the store?
AA: Definitely, when we make content and videos for TikTok and seeing her take interest in something I’ve worked so hard to build.
TSF: Is there a particular piece of jewellery that holds special meaning for you as a father?
AA: Yes! My inspired bracelet that I never take off.
TSF: What are the preferred Father’s Day gifts?
AA: Watches, bracelets, picture pendants, and rings.
TSF: What advice do you give customers looking for a meaningful gift for their dads?
For the father who appreciates understated luxury, Artwell & Co Store Manager Gizell Johnson highlights an array of 10K and 14K gold bracelets crafted to stand the test of time. (Photo: Garfield Robinson)
AA: I always suggest something that will mean the world to him, something that has strong meaning, something he will love forever.
TSF: Many consumers these days are weighing the choice between natural and lab-grown diamonds. How do you help customers decide which option is right for them?
AA: It’s really more about their budget.
TSF: What’s one jewellery item every man should consider owning?
Nothing says thoughtful gifting quite like a custom jewellery piece; a wearable heirloom crafted to celebrate life’s most cherished moments. (Photo: Garfield Robinson)
AA: A watch.
TSF: Gold, silver, or platinum?
AA: 14K gold is my preference.
TSF: Best Father’s Day gift you’ve ever received?

TSF: The greatest reward of being a dad?
AA: I love when she calls me daddy.
TSF: If you could give your child one lasting gift — beyond anything that could be found in a jewellery store — what would it be?
AA: Land, land, land, and words of encouragement.
