Warriorstomp ends 19-race wait with 31-1 shocker at Caymanas Park
AFTER 19 career starts with just one second-place and one third-place finish, Warriorstomp finally found the winning post in front on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
The five-year-old bay horse upset a field of more-fancied rivals to win a Maiden Condition race for native-bred horses five years old and up at Caymanas Park.
Trained by Alfred Davidson and ridden by Omar Walker, Warriorstomp went off at long odds of 31-1. Few expected him to win but Walker had other plans. From the gate, Walker hustled Warriorstomp straight to the front.
The bay horse set the pace ahead of C W Treasure (Shane Richardson), Time Bomb (Tyrese Anderson), and Sweet Bern (Tevin Foster) as they headed into the half-mile turn. Warriorstomp upped the tempo around the turn and brought the field into the stretch on a merry clip.

In deep stretch, Warriorstomp kept up his work and pulled away. He won pretty easily by four lengths over Time Bomb and C W Treasure. The final time for the six-furlong, 1,200m race was 1:16.2. The splits were 24.1, 49.4, and 1:02.4.
